Interactive Workshops at Pictou United
by Sharon Cheverie
PICTOU UNITED CHURCH - Greeters were Diane Vaughn and grandchildren. Steward was Bev Simmons.
Rev. Mary-Beth Moriarity lit the Christ Candle and led the Call to Worship.
Scripture Reading “How to Be A Strong Church “was read by members of the Christian Development Committee.
Following the hymn Body Song, the congregation was divided into various Interactive Workshops depending on the color of paper they received as they arrived. All those who gathered were excited to try something different. Interactive workshops were Scripture Drama, Bulletin Art, Ministry of Music, Playful Percussion, “Stone Soup” Reader’s Theatre and Puzzle Prayer.
All planning from today’s workshops will be put into use in worship next Sunday as we celebrate Christian Family Sunday at 10:30, with stone soup lunch to follow.
All are welcome.
